I don't know if I really understand this assignment...

Variation: "Go to hell," he muttered to himself as he passed quickly through the narrow alley of Temple Bar. He was having a good night of it.

Alternate: Muttering to himself, he paced through the alley of Temple Bar quickly, he wanted them all to go to hell, he was going to have a good night of it.
